First things first, regarding the news of our hiatus, there’s been some confusion about it.

In view of our tour, which begins right after we end our promotions for “Dance My Generation” in January, I’ve been doing whatever work I can while undergoing rehabilitation for my throat.

And, that’s basically what’s been going on.

Because the official statement released was:

“We are currently undergoing schedule changes with regards to the date of our comeback.”

It might have been a little too ambiguous m(_ _)m

I’m currently requesting for it to be corrected.

I’m pretty sure they actually meant:

“We had to release that statement because if Kiryuuin’s throat doesn’t heal in time for the start of our tour, we will have to reschedule our tour dates.”

Because even though I think my throat will be fully recovered by April, I’m not 100% sure if that will be the case so…

Oops! I almost started getting all depressed again!! (^-^)

Based on what I’ve seen and felt, singing high notes and shouting does quite a bit of damage, but otherwise, speaking and minor singing parts pose no problems at all.

As such, I think I will be taking a short break from live performances after January m(_ _)m

I am the one who knows best about the condition of my throat after all.

I’ll also discuss more about this with the throat specialist before I decide what to do next.

Dear kami-sama, I don’t need a break.

I just want a healthy singing voice.
